ABOUT ME
Kahlea (K) has been working intensively for the past several years with highly complex and trauma affected individuals within the criminal justice system. She has been responsible for supporting the implementation of trauma informed and evidence based practices to the corrective services in Queensland and has served over 8 years working with young people in and out of juvenile detention. K has been a member of the leadership team with Youth Justice for the past 4 years and is passionate about learning and development. She is dedicated to supporting practitioners to develop their practice when working with complex and trauma affected individuals.

K has been responsible for the design, development and delivery of training packages that span a broad range of relevant topics from within the human services field. K has a flexible and collaborative approach toward developing tailored projects and fee structures to support further training for people who choose to work in this field.
